Since these bearings are 15º Angular Contact design, they require a light preload to guarantee the best adjustment. Some cranksets have pre-load systems already built in, but if yours doesn't, or if it is made of plastic, this BB kit now includes our machined aluminum pre-load adjuster along a full complement of BB spacers to ensure precise chainline adjustment.
