Product Warranty

Bearing warranties are uncommon in the cycling industry. Most manufacturers do not offer warranty coverage once a bearing has been installed due to variables outside their control, including frame and component tolerances, installation quality, maintenance practices, riding conditions, and more.

At Enduro Bearings, we stand behind our products by offering Limited Warranty coverage across our bearings, components, and tools. Please note that damage resulting from dirt intrusion or contamination is not covered under our Limited Warranty. When a bearing becomes gritty, it is a clear indication that service is required.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Products
The following products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against corrosion, wear, and manufacturing defects throughout the product's expected service life. Although all bearings benefit from regular cleaning and fresh grease, the following service intervals are recommended to maintain optimal performance. Actual service intervals will vary depending on riding conditions, mileage, and environmental exposure.

• Whenever possible, leave the bearing installed in the bottom bracket cup or wheel hub during service. Removing and reinstalling the bearing unnecessarily can introduce damage or misalignment that may affect performance or void warranty coverage. If bearing removal is necessary, do not use the Blind Hole Puller (BRT-222). Instead, use the Linear Press (BRT-060) together with the hub axle to gently press the bearing out.
• Carefully remove the exposed bearing seal by gently prying upward from the inner edge with a small flat-blade screwdriver. Take care not to bend or deform the seal during removal.
• Pack fresh Enduro XD15 Speed Grease into the exposed bearing until older grease and contaminants begin to purge from the bearing. It is not necessary to remove all of the original grease, as the fresh grease will continue to displace contaminants during use.
• Reinstall the seal by pressing evenly around its perimeter until fully seated. Excess grease will naturally purge from the seal lips and can simply be wiped away.
• Once serviced, normal riding will continue to purge any remaining contaminants while distributing fresh grease throughout the bearing, restoring its smooth operation.

Should grit enter the bearing or noise develop prior to annual servicing, pursue one of the following options:

• Perform the annual service described above.
• Continue riding the bicycle. Fine contamination within the bearing will often become progressively pulverized and polished into the raceways during normal use, reducing noise and restoring smoothness. This process may require several hours of riding.

Maxhit Stainless Steel Components: Maxhit Bottom Brackets and Headsets require annual servicing by a qualified mechanic (watch the video). Failure to follow these service requirements will void the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Proper service includes thoroughly cleaning the bearings and re-greasing them using the appropriate Enduro grease listed below.

• Maxhit Bottom Brackets: Enduro Speed Grease (GR-011)
• Maxhit Headsets: Enduro MAX Grease (GR-009)

440C Stainless Steel Headset Bearings: All 440C Stainless Steel Headset Bearings are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Due to the design and fit of the seals on these angular contact bearings, we do not recommend removing the seals to service the internals.

Directline Derailleur Pulleys: Enduro Directline Derailleur Pulleys utilize XD15 Ceramic-Hybrid Bearings. In addition to keeping your drivetrain clean for optimal performance, we recommend removing the pulleys annually and following the XD15 Ceramic-Hybrid bearing service procedure described above.

440C Stainless Steel and Ceramic-Hybrid Hub and Bottom Bracket Bearings: Enduro 440C Stainless Steel bearings, along with "CH" and "BO" Ceramic-Hybrid bearings, perform best when properly maintained. These bearings require servicing every six months by a qualified mechanic (watch the video). Failure to follow these service requirements will void the Limited Two-Year Warranty. Proper service includes thoroughly cleaning the bearings and re-greasing them with Enduro Speed Grease (GR-011).

ABEC-5 Solid Lube Hub Bearings and MAX Solid Lube / Black Oxide Suspension Bearings: These bearings are maintenance-free and require no periodic servicing. They are backed by a Limited Two-Year Warranty.

Chromium Steel and Black Oxide Chromium Steel Headset Bearings: These bearings require servicing every six months by a qualified mechanic. Failure to follow these service requirements will void the Limited Two-Year Warranty. Proper service includes removing the bearings, cleaning the contact surfaces, and reinstalling them with fresh Enduro MAX Grease (GR-009). Due to the design and fit of the seals on these angular contact bearings, we do not recommend removing the seals to service the internals.

Limited One-Year Warranty Products
The following products are covered by a Limited One-Year Warranty against wear and manufacturing defects.

Chromium Steel Hub and Bottom Bracket Bearings: Enduro 52100 Chromium Steel bearings perform best when properly maintained. These bearings require servicing every six months by a qualified mechanic (watch the video). Failure to follow these service requirements will void the Limited One-Year Warranty. Proper service includes thoroughly cleaning the bearings and re-greasing them with Enduro Performance Grease (GR-008).

Chromium Steel, Black Oxide Coated, and Stainless Steel Suspension Pivot Bearings: These bearings require servicing every six months by a qualified mechanic (watch the video). Failure to follow these service requirements will void the Limited One-Year Warranty. Proper service includes thoroughly cleaning the bearings and re-greasing them with Enduro MAX Grease (GR-009).

• Warranty coverage applies to the original owner and requires proof of purchase.
• Products purchased through unauthorized resellers, including but not limited to eBay, Alibaba, or Amazon, are not eligible for Enduro Bearings warranty support.
• Damage resulting from improper installation, including but not limited to striking, galling, or scoring of bearing or component surfaces, is not covered under warranty.
• Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, abuse, product modification, improper product selection, or failure to follow recommended installation and maintenance procedures.
• Products determined to have defects in material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Enduro Bearings.
• Customers are responsible for freight charges associated with returning products for evaluation.

• Please explain the issue you are experiencing and provide as much information as possible to help us evaluate your situation. Helpful details include:
  • Approximately how old are the bearings or components?
  • Who installed the bearings, and were proper bearing installation tools used?
  • Approximately how many miles, kilometers, or riding hours are on the bearings or components?
  • Have you ridden in wet or harsh conditions? If so, were the bearings inspected or serviced afterward?
  • How frequently have the bearings been serviced, who performed the service, and did the service follow proper procedures?
  • If the bearings are installed directly in your bicycle, please provide the make, model, and model year.
  • If the bearings are installed in a component, please provide the make, model, and model year of the component.
  • Are the bearings the correct clearance specified by the manufacturer (for example, C3 vs. CN)?

• Include a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase for the bearing(s) or component(s).
• Providing photos and/or videos of the issue can significantly help expedite your warranty evaluation.
• Providing complete contact and shipping information will also help expedite the evaluation process.

• If the product is determined to have a defect in material or workmanship, Enduro Bearings will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
• In some cases, Enduro may request that products be returned to our headquarters for in-person evaluation. Under these circumstances, customers are responsible for shipping the product to Enduro, and Enduro will cover return shipping.
• If the product is determined to require routine maintenance or service, we will provide recommendations for proper servicing.
• For products covered under a Lifetime Warranty, domestic customers who are unable to service their product may send it to Enduro for in-house servicing. Customers are responsible for shipping the product to Enduro, and Enduro will cover return shipping. Due to international shipping requirements, customs, and associated costs, this service is currently limited to domestic customers.
