BRT-060-Z - Linear-Press Bearing Service Toolset including Quick Release Zip-Nut - designed to service all hub and suspension bearing applications.

This kit includes two press rods sized specifically for hub or suspension applications, a pair of interchangeable Linear Quick Handles, and a full complement of bearing guides and receiver cups for the most popular hub and suspension bearings to ensure efficient and accurate bearing removal and installation.

Guide sizes include:

  • Hub guides: 6800, 6802, 6803, 6900, 6901, 6902, 6903, MR 1526, and MR 1830.
  • Double-sided suspension inner (pusher) pilots: 8/10/11mm, 15/17mm, and 18/20mm.
  • Four double-sided receiver cups covering bearing ODs from 12mm to 32mm.

The Linear Bearing Press utilizes the same 29-degree Acme thread design found in high-precision applications such as lead screw drives for CNC machines. This design results in wider, broader thread bases with greater strength and overall durability. Most importantly, the Acme thread design is much more accurate than standard V-shaped threads, providing precise 90-degree force for perfect bearing seating and installation alignment. Unlike other bearing press products that utilize a plain bushing or no bearing at all, each Linear Press rod features a static nut fitted with a precision needle bearing set with ground surfaces to provide smooth, accurate, bind-free operation. Finally, the Linear Quick Handles are like small transformers, allowing you to combine two short handles for tight spaces, two long handles for additional leverage, or one short and one long handle for greater control. These 6061 alloy handles snap onto the 15mm (5/8") stainless steel nuts, which can also be used with open-end or socket wrenches. For those who prefer Allen wrenches, a hex drive has been machined into the end of each handle as well.
