BRT-040 - Toolkit for BB bearing removal and installation, and hub bearing removal. For use with BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses.

If you are purchasing this kit for bearing removal and servicing of BSA29, BSA30, ITA29, or ITA30 bottom brackets, you will also need the following tool:
• BRT-019 – 29mm & 30mm bearing removal adapter for BSA and ITA cups; for use with BRT-040 bearing removal and installation toolkit

This kit expands upon the functionality of the BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses to allow for the gentle removal and installation of BB bearings and hub bearings by utilizing the nut and threaded rod from the bearing press to press the bearing from the component. This is ideal for bearings like stainless steel and XD15 that can be removed and cleaned over and over again, should they become rough and gritty with dirt.

This kit includes cups, guides and pullers to allow for the removal and installation of all sizes of BB and hub bearings when used in conjunction with the BRT-060 or BRT-050 bearing presses. Please note that the receiver cups provided for removing hub bearings are intended for use with hubs that feature axle stops. This toolkit features many cross compatible parts with the BRT-003 24mm BB press tool that overlap the functionality of BRT-002 (30mm BB) and the BRT-016 (29mm DUB BB).

These optional items are not included with the BRT-040 kit.
• BRT-019 is a special tool that allows you to remove bearings from BSA/ITA 29 and BSA 30 cups.
• BRT-040-BB86/92 includes a puller and removal cup to remove press-fit BB86/92 BBs.
