DRF 3041 2RS SS – Stainless Steel, Double-Row, Flanged, Press-In Bottom Bracket Bearing solution for BB86/92 framesets and 30mm cranksets – 30mm x 41/44mm x 11mm

This is a single bearing unit. One bearing is required per side of the bottom bracket. For the complete bottom bracket assembly, refer to BKS-7015.

You may find the following tools useful for installation:
BRT-060-MH – Enduro Bearing Press rod and handle set
BRT-040-30mm – Bottom bracket bearing removal and installation toolkit for 30mm bearings
BRT-040-BB86/92 – BB86/92 adapter cup and puller for use with the BRT-040 toolkit
GR-009 – Enduro MAX Bearing Grease

This custom-designed bearing allows you to run 30mm spindle cranksets directly in BB86/92 framesets. Due to the 41mm inner diameter constraint of BB86/92 bottom bracket shells, a specialized solution is required to accommodate 30mm spindles.

By utilizing double-row, flanged bearings that press directly into the BB shell, we maximize contact area and effectively double the number of balls per side, delivering a long-lasting solution in an extremely compact space. This stainless steel radial bottom bracket bearing features 440C stainless steel alloy races, paired with 440C stainless steel alloy balls and 90% fill, high-pressure waterproof grease.

Not all stainless steel is created equal.
When stainless steel is called for, Enduro only uses 440C stainless steel balls and races to provide long life and superior corrosion resistance in applications and environments that may be less than ideal.

440C stainless steel offers the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance of the standard 440-series stainless alloys, due to its high carbon content. As expected, it is also the most expensive alloy in the 440 series and requires multiple stages of heat and cryogenic treatment to achieve its superior mechanical properties.

While stainless steel has approximately 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer than our standard 52100 chromium steel used in most bearings, it is an excellent alternative for wet conditions, frequent bike washing, or environments where sweat exposure is a concern.

All Enduro stainless steel bottom bracket and hub bearings are covered by a limited two-year warranty against corrosion, wear, and manufacturing defects. Semi-annual professional servicing is required using Enduro Speed Bearing Grease (GR-011).

This bearing is designed specifically for BB86/92 framesets and cranksets with 30mm spindles (BB386 and BB30).

The Enduro line of bearings is available in high-carbon chromium steel, black oxide-treated, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and ceramic-hybrid with XD15 super stainless steel races. Our bearings are engineered with the deepest groove races possible to accommodate larger balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove, creating a full labyrinth seal for long life and superior protection against the elements.
