BRT-040-30mm - Toolkit for BB bearing removal and installation for 30mm BBs. For use with BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses.

If you are purchasing this kit for bearing removal and servicing of BSA30 or ITA30 bottom brackets, you will also need the following tool:
• BRT-019 – 29mm & 30mm bearing removal adapter for BSA and ITA cups; for use with BRT-040 bearing removal and installation toolkit

This tool includes the following:
• Split collet for 29mm and 30mm bearing removal
• Expander shaft for split collet
• 30/42/46mm bearing and frame guide for bearing removal and installation
• 30/42mm extraction cup for bearing removal
• 52mm master cup with 32mm wrench flats; accepts standard (15mm) and Zip-Nut from BRT-060 family

This kit expands upon the functionality of the BRT-060 and BRT-050 bearing presses to allow for the gentle removal and installation of BB bearings and hub bearings by utilizing the nut and threaded rod from the bearing press to press the bearing from the component. This is ideal for bearings like stainless steel and XD15 that can be removed and cleaned over and over again, should they become rough and gritty with dirt.

This kit includes the cup, guide and puller to allow for the removal and installation 30mm ID BB bearings when used in conjunction with the BRT-060 or BRT-050 bearing presses. This kit replaces the functionality of the BRT-002.

Please note that the optional part BRT-019 is required to remove bearings from BSA/ITA 30 cups.
