Enduro bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings provide greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots.

This MAX-type, Black-Oxide, suspension bearing features Black-Oxide treated, 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls. All Enduro bearings are designed specifically for bicycle applications with deeper grooves to accommodate the largest balls possible, providing maximum bearing contact area and greatly increased bearing life. The LLU full-contact seals used in our suspension bearings utilize a dual-lip labyrinth design to provide maximum protection from the elements and the Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating provides an extra level of corrosion resistance, as well as an additional level of material normalization, for extended worry-free performance against wear and the elements.

This bearing features an extended inner race that eliminates the need for extra spacers to connect suspension linkages.

This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands including Pivot.

The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls possible and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
